Sweet Valentines Day Makeup Look
The meaning of Valentines day, for me, is the day to cherish the one that you love! Giving from the heart and meaning it and saying I love you and meaning it!
I love the idea of having a special look to wear on Valentines day, pinks and purples are my obvious colours of choice, however wearing pink makeup has a tendency to look more like an eye infection instead of a fashion statement, so I challenged myself create a pinky makeup look that would look pretty and not like an eye disease.
Hope all of you enjoy what I have created its a simple and elegant look that can be worn by not only makeup lovers but also the ladies that don’t wear much makeup at all.
1. Primer and base
Apply your favourite eye primer all over the eye and set with a base colour. This will stop your eyeshadow from creasing and make sure that it stays on all day.
2. Socket Colour
Apply a light pink eyeshadow into the socket of the eye using a socket brush. Using a blending brush blend the eyeshadow to give it a softer look.
Using a dark purple and a socket brush create a ‘C’ shape on the outer corner of the eye.
4. Blending and Shimmer
Using the blending brush blend the outer corner and apply a nude pink shimmer on the inner corner of eye.
Apply your favourite eyeliner to your top lashline
6. Bottom Eyeliner
Apply a white pencil eyeliner into the water line of your eye. This will make your eye appear larger than usual and will also give your eye a doll like look.
7. Bottom Lashline
Using the same dark purple eyeshadow that was used on the top of the eye and an angled brush apply to the bottom lash line.
8. Lips and Cheeks
Apply a pink blush and light pink lipstick to complete the look
